Who we are
We are a family owned company which began operating in its present form in 2011. The principals of Quinland Maritime have been active in the shipping industry since 1972, with an emphasis on owning a diverse fleet ranging from refrigerated ships, bulk carriers, product tankers and VLCCs’.
Having been involved in ownership since the early 70's, Quinland Maritime have acquired, traded and sold more than 70 vessels ranging from refrigerated vessels, twin deckers, bulk carriers, tankers, product tankers and VLCC's.
Vessel Management
Management has been, and will remain an integral part of Quinland Maritime strategy. The vast majority of the vessels we manage are through our subsidiaries which are located internationally, most notably in China, Greece, London and the Middle East. Quinland Maritime prides itself on our proven track record of operating vessels efficiently and safely.
Chartering
Chartering has been a major side line of Quinland Maritime’s activities whenever and wherever demand has outstripped our own supply of vessels. Whether that be to support our regular or liner services or to run less substantial contracts. We have successfully chartered over 100 vessels and operated them with an excellent delivery and safety record.
Oil
Safety is Quinland Maritime top priority and tankers are no exception. We have successfully transported over 15 million metric tons oil, most of which crude across the planet. More recently, we have begun trading oil. With links to the major trade houses, we can offer an unparalleled premium services to discerning clients.
Sale and Purchase
With strong connections across the America’s, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australasia, Quinland Maritime stands well equipped to handle the sale and purchases of our vessels anywhere in the world. Additionally, we have the capability to manage the sale and purchase of vessels on behalf of clients as either part of a debt restructure or en-block sales for close collaborators.
